NextLife is a relocation intelligence platform. We are committed to handling your data transparently and responsibly. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

1. Who We Are

NextLife (“NextLife,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the NextLife platform and associated domains. We provide AI-powered relocation tools, city comparison features, and a marketplace connecting individuals with independent service providers including realtors, lenders, and movers.

NextLife is not a real estate broker, mortgage lender, moving company, or financial advisor. We are a software platform only.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Data

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address and password (managed through Supabase Auth)
  • Name and profile preferences
  • Selected cities and relocation preferences
  • Income and budget inputs you provide in relocation tools
  • Your assigned role (buyer, realtor, lender, or mover)

AI Assistant & Chat Inputs

When you use the NextLife AI assistant or city matching features, your inputs are processed through OpenAI's API. We may store conversation context to improve your experience. Do not include sensitive personal information (such as SSNs or financial account details) in AI chat inputs.

Provider Data

If you register as a service provider, we collect:

  • Business name, contact information, and service area
  • License or certification details you provide
  • Subscription and billing information (processed by Stripe)
  • Profile content and any uploaded materials

Lead & Connection Data

When a user initiates a connection with a provider, we collect the information submitted in that lead form — including name, contact details, and relocation needs — and share it with the relevant provider as described in Section 5.

Usage & Technical Data

  • Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Session cookies and authentication tokens
  • Error logs and performance data

3. Cookies and Sessions

NextLife uses cookies and session tokens for authentication and platform functionality, managed through Supabase SSR.

  • Authentication cookies — required to maintain your session
  • Preference cookies — store your settings and selected cities
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how the platform is used

Disabling cookies in your browser will prevent you from logging in or using authenticated features.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and operate the NextLife platform and its features
  • Power AI-based city matching, recommendations, and relocation insights
  • Personalize your dashboard and surface relevant data
  • Route lead submissions to service providers when you initiate a connection
  • Determine provider visibility, placement, and ranking in search results
  • Process provider subscription payments through Stripe
  • Send transactional emails such as account confirmations and billing receipts
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
  • Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

5. Lead Sharing With Providers

Your information is shared with a service provider only when you actively initiate a connection — for example, by submitting a contact request or lead form.

When a lead is submitted, the provider receives the contact information and relocation details you provided. Providers are independent businesses. NextLife does not control, monitor, or guarantee how providers handle your information after a connection is made. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

NextLife integrates with the following services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy practices:

Supabase

Provides our database and authentication infrastructure. All user data, provider data, leads, and platform records are stored in Supabase. See supabase.com/privacy.

Stripe

Processes all provider subscription payments. NextLife does not store full payment card details. See stripe.com/privacy.

OpenAI

Your AI assistant queries are processed via OpenAI's API. Inputs sent to OpenAI are subject to their usage policies. See openai.com/privacy.

Vercel

NextLife is hosted on Vercel, which may process request data including IP addresses as part of hosting and CDN services. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) policies, and secure session management. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access that occurs despite our precautions. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion as described in Section 9. Certain data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 12. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Some requests may be limited where we have legitimate legal or operational grounds to retain certain data.

10. Children's Privacy

NextLife is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
