Though Next Life for Animals just started in mid-2013, we have already placed over 25 dogs, 5 cats and 2 rabbits into Forever Homes. Because we work with highly sensitive situations (laboratory animals, abuse situations, etc), we maintain confidentiality when needed or required. Below are some of the faces we’ve helped.
Next Life values the confidentiality of the laboratories and other sources that we work with, and therefore, many of the animals we re-home are not publicized.
Meet Frank! Frank lived his first two years inside of a laboratory until we were contacted to rehome him and some of his friends in the lab after their retirement. Frank and others were released to us, went into foster homes where their personalities were assessed and then placed with the perfect match of their forever homes. Frank is living the good life in a home in New Jersey with another dog he calls his best friend!
This is Chester! Chester was found under a car in Colorado, still weaning and no mom or litter mates around. We took him in, bottle fed him and now he’s a healthy and happy boy living with a family for four kids who adore him!
Shania came from a laboratory where she lived for about a year and a half. We found the PERFECT home for her with Twain. They have bonded now and enjoy sunshine, apples and parsley.
Meet George! George was hit by a car and taken to the local animal control wherein he was scheduled to be euthanized because of this extensive injuries. We got a call from the shelter asking if we had the funds and ability to help him, and of course we said yes! Georgie recovered from his injuries and now lives in Wyoming and two other dogs his size. They have formed a fun pack where they play and chase all day. His owners get a kick out of watching them knock over items on table, but they don’t care, they are just happy they got to help save his life.
